Dr. Arlin Smith has over 25 years of ministry and leadership experience. Because of his godly wisdom, faith, and belief in the power of prayer; he is a sought after advisor by those in business, church and political realms. Dr. Smith is a man who holds to practical, Biblical perspective in all he does.
Growing up in a small, rural community in central Missouri(a), Dr. Smith learned the value of hard work and loyalty early in his life. He preached his first message at the age of 16. In reading the Bible, he began to ask why we were not seeing the things in Scripture still today. This caused him to become a lifetime learner, as he pursued both education and experience. He has a B.A. in Ministry, a Master of Theology, a Doctorate of Divinity, and a Ph.D in Covenant Leadership.
Dr. Smith and his wife, Kris, have three children and currently reside at their small hobby farm in Springfield, TN. On October 21, 2006, they were set in as the pastors of Purpose Life Church. For over 13 years they have, and are, faithfully serving the household of faith and the community they reside in. Dr. Smith is an author, speaker, apostle, teacher, pastor, advisor, mentor, and world traveler, but he thinks his greatest titles are a son of God, husband and dad.
